CULINARY
At Šiker’s, we always welcome the changing seasons and with them the opportunity for seasonal additions to our menu. That is why some of our dishes are indeed traditional, yet in tune with the times and the development of culinary art. Thus, as the seasons change, seasonal mushrooms, chestnut dishes, delicacies during “koline” season, wild garlic and asparagus, flowering acacia, cherries and berries, doughnuts or traditional dessert “potica”, all come to our plates.
ŠIKER'S CLASSICS
Šiker’s classics are dishes that have a special place among us and a story of their own, written across generations of Šikers. They are our restaurant’s typical dishes, dating back to the 1960s and 1970s. Some of them were being prepared already by my grandfather Jože and grandmother Silva, others by my mother Breda, and some of them are being created by us, the sixth generation of Šikers.
