Gostilna Šiker is our culinary home with a fine tradition. Why home? Because rich knowledge and experiences have been handed down from generation to generation. It all started in 1870 when Mihael and Ana Schicker began the story of a traditional gostilna, a genuine Slovenian inn, which soon gained popularity among locals as well as travellers passing through this part of the country. After five generations have, each in its own way, indelibly shaped the character of this legendary inn, the success story is continued by Nataša and Sašo Fluher. Both are graduates from Turistica, the College of Tourism in Portorož.
